If I want to get my life on track, I need to live on my own and clean up the array of papers, trash, and useless items that are lying in the office that is my mind. If I want to do that, I have to keep track of all my actual belongings, meaning I have to get rid of all the useless items that have sentimental value in my mind. A part of me doesn't want to... but giving it to someone who could TRULY make use of these sentimental objects is a perfect excuse.
